My Boots Are On Your Table

I've been in over a dozen bands. The number of albums I've released is in double figures. I've even published a collection of short stories. On paper the CV of non-work things appears impressive. The two year run of my music podcast. Having my music played (twice) on the John Peel show. Running a record label. Backpacking around New Zealand.

The thing is, you can do very little, very slowly and if you live long enough it just seems to add up.

The radio shows are still available on request (for a small fee! Ha ha!) and you can probably still buy my book on Amazon -- I've not looked lately.

And if you wonder where the URL for this blog comes from - well The Undersea World of Steely Dan was the short lived follow up to Radio of the Second Dimension, the aforementioned music podcast. The Undersea World ran to just 3 episodes, of which only one or perhaps two were ever broadcast. This song was one of my favourites from those shows:
